Table determines how well you do your test and ride your skateboard. Before making a purchase, consider your board materials, length, width, tip, tail, edges and overall shape.

Select your board material

The boards provide the best response while wood is the most common material for tables. Plastic skateboards have a long life but do not respond as well as wood. You will also find tables made of aluminum and fiberglass.

Get a good walk

For the user skateboarding traditional style “street or street”, opt for tables less than 33 inches (83cm) long. For other uses, such as style “cruise or cruising” bumper sticker choose 35 inches long (89cm). Skaters should choose smaller shorter boards to gain better control.

Select the correct axes:

Skateboard axles, or “trucks”, hold the wheels on the skateboard and to rotate. Most skateboard axles come in a range of 4.75 to 5.5 inch (12-14cm) and weigh between 10 and 13 ounces (310-400grs).
